I’m stuck in a fake relationship with my billionaire boss. Now, I must play the part of the perfect girlfriend. My path as a screenwriter took an unexpected turn. And of course, fate pairs me up as his assistant.Chad Baker, the brooding actor with a bad boy reputation. He's infuriatingly irresistible and undeniably hot. He’s the opposite of what I need. He’s tough and I can’t stand him but,I find myself falling for him.Old scars and family expectations threaten to tear us apart. His family wants him to settle down with a woman from their world. Pretending becomes harder than I expected.I can't help but wonder if our connection is real. His family's approval isn't guaranteed, but the heat between us is undeniable. Can I make Chad see that love doesn't need to be scripted,or will our pretend romance shatter my heart?

Chloe has gotten a new job as a personal assistant to actor Chad. He's a hot movie actor, in demand and popular (and conceited about it too!). Her very first day is a comedy of errors from the beginning and does not reflect well on either one of them. In order to try and repair Chad's media image, his manager asks Chloe if she would pretend to be his girlfriend. She agrees because she needs to keep her job, but the more time that they spend together, the angrier Chloe gets at Chad. There are some confrontational moments, then there are other moments as well! The banter between the two is great and I love Chloe for standing up for herself and getting Chad on the right path.
