I had the absolute pleasure of ARC reading Undying Lands.

Kara, you have simply outdone yourself with this book. This book just might be my favourite that I've read this year!

Things you need to read this book:
    Lots and lots of tissues
    And possibly therapy afterwards.

This is the first book that gave me chest pains from the heartbreak. I had to put it down, take a walk outside, and come back to it. The pain was so vivid and so real.

Evelina- I have no words for her character. She was such a kind-hearted, thoughtful, and soft character. She wore her heart on her sleeve and felt everything so deeply. Being someone who is sensitive and in touch with her emotions and people around her, she just brought so much vulnerability and relatability. This is what made her such a strong character. She showed her emotions but would never shy away from protecting those she loved. I loved watching her grow throughout the books. No matter what was thrown at her, how much she lost, she would face anything with her head held high and with such courage and conviction.

Daimon- another brilliantly fleshed out mmc. He truly was Evelina's other half, and the darkness to her light. He was perfect. He was sensitive and strong. I loved his character arc, even if it was heartbreaking. The bond that he shared with Zephyr was just incredible as well.

Watching both characters from when they were children to growing apart to finally getting to be together and then everything that came after truly ripped my heart out of my chest.

This book had brilliant world building, political intrigue, and delved into Evelina's life during Moros rule and also her journey to becoming queen. The plot had me in a chokehold.

It's such a beautifully written book with so many memorable intimate and unforgettable moments.

This is a tragic love story, and my life was all the better for reading it.

    "I'll dream with you always...
    Forevermore."
