I received a copy of this book from Kay L Moody. This is my honest review.
What an epic adventure this was! The race to stop the High Queen before she can destroy Faerie is proving more difficult with every twist and turn. Elora is extremely unprepared, as per usual, for what the fae are capable of, and just keeps landing herself in dangerous situations.
Elora was quite a different character in this book. She felt very lost and was struggling with all the changes happening, and just her very intense feelings of thinking she's useless. This is definitely a different of turn of events for Elora. She's always been so headstrong, and very sure of herself. In saying that, it makes her feel more real, and gives her and Brannick a stronger connection.
There is definitely more romance in this book than the others, and we are getting an indication of how strong Elora and Brannick can be together, and what we hope they will be to come. Brannick has broken down some walls and is finally letting Elora in, as best as he can. I do hope we see more of them together!
That cliffhanger though! Kay is going to be the death of us with all these cliffhangers she keeps leaving us on! I cannot wait to read the final book in this series. I have no idea what to expect with this last book, and it makes it that much more exciting!
