What a beautiful and touching story. I wasn't sure what I expected of this story when I first picked it up, but I didn't expect to finish this with tears in my eyes!

These Violent Delight meets Cinder, but set in Vietnam?? I loved these two series, so I knew I had to give it a go! This was a really interesting and engaging fantasy. I loved the atmosphere of the story - it was a dark read, but with a neat mix of science and magic. I'm excited to see how the story continues with an ending like that!

Have you ever wondered what happened to Wendy once she left Neverland? 'Wendy’s Ever After' takes that question and spins it into a nostalgic, romantic adventure. This book captured my attention quickly in the start. It was hard not to fall in love with Wendy and the mysterious Mr Blackwell. Their banter was witty and their chemistry was off the charts. It was so easy to fall in love with their dynamic, and for a while, I thought this book would be an instant favourite. But once the story returned to Neverland, it didn't quite land the same. I loved the plot and the little nods to the original tale, but Wendy and Liam’s relationship didn’t quite pull me in the same way. The conflict resolved too easily, and I never felt any real stakes. By the time everything was neatly tied up, I realized that while I enjoyed the journey and wanted to root for their love story, I wasn’t fully invested. Still, for anyone who loves a bit of Peter Pan nostalgia with a romantic twist, this book offers a fun escape. Even if it didn’t completely steal my heart, it was definitely a charming read.

Well, I never would have guessed who the murder would be! It was so simple and obvious in the end that I'm kind of mad at myself for not picking up on all the clues sooner!

This was my first Danielle Hawkins book. I love being able to read books from NZ authors. This was a sweet and enjoyable romance.

I took a chance starting The Love Hotel series with book three, but it turned out to be a great decision! Even though there are connections to the previous books, this one stands on its own, so I never felt lost. The concept had me hooked right away—a love hotel that finds your perfect match? Yes, please! This book has so many great romance elements: forbidden love, forced proximity, witty laugh-out-loud banter, and matchmaking gone wrong. Oh, and the setting? Puglia, Italy—an absolute dream. Olivia managed to make me feel like I was right there alongside them! Sammie and Romeo’s chemistry was undeniable. Every interaction made me fall in love with them more, and I couldn’t help but root for them. It was impossible not to devour this book as quickly as I could! By the time I finished, I knew one thing—I’ll definitely be reading more Olivia Spring books!

I watched the tv series first, and while it took me a bit to get into, I ended up loving it in the end. And the soundtrack was amazing! I loved the book more. The concept of having multiple voices and as a sort of documentary style, it was a lot of fun and made for a even more fun listen.
