I had the immense honor of interviewing some members of the Sun Ra Arkestra during this year's Sun Ra Day Festival (they were very nice and cool! 😎) so this list contains some of the resources I used to prepare and other books that explore Sun Ra's life, music, and influence.

I want this list to highlight women and gender minorities* who wrote about astrophysics/astronomy, or their experience studying it. I also included some biographies because a lot of the history of women+ in physics was (and still is) ignored, even though their contributions are phenomenal :)
