Recs if you like I Think They Love You...

Please let me know if there are any I should add.

Beautiful books for when your monthly reading roundup needs a little facelift 😉

Black people falling in love written by Black people

This list was generated from a post on pagebound club on Juneteenth in 2026. I opted to not try and make this list comprehensive but just to document the community recs from that day - however, if you have more books to recommend please comment in the forum! Prompts from the original post will be in the comments. Note: prompts asked for books by Black authors, not only those from/books set in the US. See comments section for more discussion.

Getting a bit fed up of the amount of gay men written by straight women. Please recommend me more books!

Exactly what it says! Done watching Heated Rivalry? Waiting for the rest of the Game Changers books to come in at the library? I've got you covered!

Also a good list if you're dipping your toe into thinking about romance as 'real' reading - these books will give you nuance, social justice, magic systems, empowerment, and all of them will give you supportive queer love and nice warm feels. Not all sports, though there's many of those in here. Welcome to reading romance, friends!

Yes, that has been said to me. 😐 Fiction featuring Black characters that are also queer. :)

Black love in all its glory

Oftentimes nonblack readers act as though the only time of the year they should read books by and about black people is in February. Support books by and about Black people all year and not just one month out of the year cause that’s performative.

My anticipated 2025 romance releases!

Queerness is essential to the plot, to our lives, and to the authors.

Books coming out in January, February, or March 2025 that deserve way more hype. [Ages: YA, Adult] [Genres: Romance, Sci-Fi, Low Fantasy, Retellings]

Things I want to read in the new year

I love a good boy and boy romcom! I’m very open to suggestions and love to fall in love with a good book! ♥️
