I now remember why I DNFed this audio book.. The narrator, Lois Ridge, does fine work but the voice she uses for Tallora is... Well... It's annoying as heck. 😭

I DNF-ed this last year and I can't really remember why. So I'm going to try it again. Fingers crossed!

I am *somewhat* glad I gave this one a second chance. It wasn't as bad as I thought the first time around but the voice the narrator gives to Tallora is beyond annoying. She makes her sound like a spoiled child. It was grating on the ears. Overall, it was a solid enemies to lovers and MERMAIDS. Mermaids are always a win.
