as always, taking any and all suggestions

There's a lot to be said about your 20s, but life afterwards is just as sweet! Here is a list of books where the FMC is age 30+ so you can enjoy a little more maturity and a totally different POV on life. This one is dedicated to my fellow millennials 🫶 I'll update as I continue to read. Please share any suggestions you have for our friends in the comments.

Nearly 50 books coming out in the next three months that we're excited to read.

This pride month I want to highlight an amazing lesbian artist and illustrator Jenifer Prince! She’s one of my favorites and she creates amazing sapphic artwork; I have a few of her prints hanging up and they are gorgeous! In the last few years she has started illustrating book covers as well! Most of the covers are for sapphic stories, but I have included the ones that are not, as I want to highlight all of the covers she’s illustrated! Anyway, happy pride!!! 🧡🤍🩷

Romance novels where the MCs are an MF couple that is straight-presenting, but one or both is/are queer

Romance books with friends to lovers

I’ve rewatched Off Campus an embarrassing number of times, and the thing that always sticks with me is Garrett and Hannah’s shared love of music. These books capture that same feeling. Not books that just remind me of songs, but stories where the characters love music deeply—through songwriting, performing, shared albums, and the way music becomes part of how they connect to themselves and each other.

Rock star romances

I’m on my fifth rockstar romance this summer, and GOD—the way these authors worship music is intoxicating. It’s not just the insider POVs or the music knowledge. These books make me feel the way my favorite albums do: blasting at full volume on the highway, humming through my AirPods under twinkling lights on a rainy night, or replaying Adele’s live performance for the hundredth time.

Books where they're friends but one of them has always wanted more. So it's the journey of how they support each other regardless, but also make that leap! (Title is a quote from Homebound by Meredith Trapp). I'm not talking about strangers to friends to lovers... we're looking for history, yearning, backstory stuff lol. Suggestions welcome!

Romance books that take place on, near, or adjacent to boats. Time to listen to yacht rock and enjoy the ride.

Books centred around the idea of being a musician and or have music very central to the plot

In life, I think any woman above my 5'7" is tall 👯‍♀️ for our purposes if the writer identifies her as being a tall girl, I'll go with that lol. Just a little celebration for the girls who stand out and the people who love them. Recommendations welcome!
