Loves for the ages. Soul-bound. The yearning we all yearn for. These are the books that will live rent-free in my head for a lifetime. The love is so romantic, even the contemporary's are fantasy.

Romance novels where the main characters fall as they work together as a team toward a common goal, with most of the conflict coming from outside their relationship. Often found in romantic suspense, arranged marriage novels, and novels with career-driven protagonists. Very open to suggestions. It's my favorite trope.

Grumpy heroes of contemporary romance

IRL I never want to see someone injured, in a romance book, I love nothing more than a dramatic and emotional in play/on field sports injury that reveals someone’s true feelings. Bonus points if the injured person carries the other person.
