Desperate to escape a past that haunts him, Father Cantrell lives a simple life as a priest at Revived Faith Catholic Church. His days are spent tending to the needs of his congregation, working at Saint Anthony's Shelter, and, on the rare occasion that he's free, visiting the local dive bar. So when a volunteer at the shelter offers to take the night shift for Father Cantrell, he takes the opportunity to go to the bar in hopes of relaxing for a few short hours. His dreams of an unassuming, uneventful night quickly change the moment Illias Koller walks in. Sarcastic, cocky, tattooed, and a massive flirt, everything about him screams bad idea but Father Cantrell can't seem to escape him after their first encounter. Illias infiltrates not only his life, but his thoughts, his dreams, even his prayers making it harder to ignore his past.
