short story collections by a single author in a variety of genres. recommendations welcome!

All these short story collections have at least one story in them that I'm never. ever. going to forget. Maybe they'll settle deep into your grey matter too?

books i’m hoping to read for my first r/fantasy bingo

All these books I've read remind me of the show Black Mirror!

it’s haunted, it’s evil, it’s gonna eat us alive

amazing gems that are under 200 pages

i am obsessed with short story collections so pls give any suggestions 🖤

great books with pink covers. not an exhaustive list.

This isn’t just “weird girl lit,” it’s weird girl books with a MESSAGE. with something to say and doing it in a weird way!! No shame to the angry woman weird girl books but that ain’t what I’m talking about. I’m talking space, magical realism, weird kinks as metaphors. I’m talking new takes on the form, books that do things differently. If you know, you know. These are some of my favorite types of books and nearly everything on this list I’ve read and loved.

Short story collections that are a little weird, a little fantastical, and a little spooky
