But she has lost the will to live after her accident, and Seiichi resigns himself to the task of watching his mother slowly fall apart. Their final conversation unfolds in dream, while Seiichi himself is the object of another dreamer's thoughts... And so the tale finally comes to a close, the horrors of the past relegated to a welcome oblivion.

0I have nothing to say...The whole series was...I don't even know how to describe it..
I am considering this ending a happy one, finally, the cycle of abusive parenting will end, Sei is his own person, and cannot remember that monster of a mother. And let's not forget about Fukiishi, who will probably be the mother she never had to her daughters. I couldn't ask for more!

0The whole 20 years later section was just so underwhelming compared to how disturbing the prologue was…. my feelings on the ending are lol k.
