This was just as good as the first book in the series. We get to see more of Michele and also incredible character development. I often wanted to bang Rafe’s head against a wall in “A Taste of Revenge” but he’s totally redeemed in The Foiled Plan. The man is WHIPPED and worships the ground Noelle walks on! I loved it! My heart melted so many times at their interactions.
The plot gets significantly darker. Noelle is slowly getting her memory back and it’s not looking good for her. Michele is just as psychotic as in the first book. I love his character because he’s a really good villain, there’s no way to like him. I really wonder if or how Veronica Lancet will redeem him because he’s so crazy it doesn’t seem possible.
I think this is my favorite mafia romance. I highly recommend and I will now be impatiently waiting for the next book!
