A black-listed bounty hunter in hiding, a bizarre alien buckaroo, and some rather frantic forced proximity... I've spent the last eight years chasing scumbags to the ends of the universe in my job as a bounty hunter. Until the day there's suddenly a new bounty on my head. But the bounty is fake. I've been framed. And now my entire life is falling apart. I try to hide out on an isolated planet with a no-landing order, only to get tangled up with the strangest man I've ever met. His name is Xennet. And if I want to survive on this planet, it looks like I'll need to rely on him. Except it turns out Xennet is precisely the same sort of person I've devoted my life to putting behind bars - a murderer. And worse than that? I'm developing feelings for this shuldu-riding, cowboy-hat-wearing, knife-obsessed convict. I can't stay with him. There's only so long I can hide from this planet's wardens and avoid capture. And there's only so long until Xennet marries someone else. Because his promised human bride is coming. And she's coming soon.
