‘Worst days’ don’t normally end with me hooking up with a handsome billionaire playboy running from his crazy ex, who happens to be my ex-best friend... Didn’t expect to see him again or end up agreeing to be fake engaged. Thanks to me losing my job, and him having a crazy ex, we’re forced together in irresistable circumstances. Underneath all that arrogance and grumpiness is a man with a heart. I’d be lying to say he isn’t rude, demanding, sexy as hell, and a complete bosshole. But what can’t be faked are the sparks when we touch… As much as we get under each other’s skin, we can’t quit each other.

Sebrina meets James when she is leaving after being stood up by a date. James is hiding from a crazy ex who is sort of stalking him. They have that night together and then part amicably to their own lives. The next time they meet is about 2 weeks later in the park - Sebrina has just lost her job and James offers her a deal: pretend to be his girlfriend/fiancé. She agrees and they agree that it's simply a business transaction - no emotions. Unfortunately, they both seem to forget that is what they agreed and soon things are really complicated. There's a baby involved too.
I liked both this story and the characters. They were likable and not just caricatures of their positions.
