Recs if you like Dragon Mage (Rivenworld, #1)...

a collection of autistic coded characters in fiction [ recommendations welcome! ]

I'm sure some of these are already on your TBR, so might as well add some more! Let me know if I am missing any of your favorites!

f*ck misogyny, women write epic fantasy too

I know there are a couple other dragon lists out there, but a lot of them were missing some of my favourites, so I'm just making my own!

These books the dragons will play a significant role in the plot, even if the focus of the book isn't dragons themselves (like the Hobbit).

For books in a series, I'll only be adding the first one.

Feel free to drop suggestions! I'm trying to include all the dragon books I can.

A compendium of books featuring dragons

Speculative fiction books with autistic characters, or by openly autistic identifying authors, as put together by Ada Hoffmann from 2011 to 2023 - plus Hoffmann herself, who's also autistic. For books I couldn't find, see comments! If you can add books to GR to add them here, you're welcome to do so (and tell me so I add them to this list)!

Independent authors with fantastic books!

Books for those obsessed with dragons. For series, only the first book is listed.

Books featuring humans bonding with dragons or dragon riders as a major plot point.

Some dragons do not want your gold or your friendship. They want your worship—or your silence. These are the apex predators of history, the shadow-casters who burn cities to settle an argument and rule from thrones of scorched bone. They are the ancient law and the final executioner. We call them... the Tyrants.
