Romantasy and romantic/erotic fantasy reads starring queer characters! (Recs are welcome, but I'd like to encourage uplifting queer authors first and foremost! For series, I'll just put book 1 unless they can be read as standalones!)

A list I have tried to search for and failed to find; Lgbt+ books by australian authors! Very very VERY open to suggestions!! please give suggestions 🙏 (preferably set in australia but the list is so small atm so everything is welcome! and including authors from New Zealand!!)

These books surprised me with how much I ended up liking them. I was expecting a typical gay romance novel with a suggestion of a fantasy world, but these delivered. Some contain monster-adjecent love interests, but I wouldn’t classify them as monster romance as the “monsters” are typical in the fantasy world.
