Recs if you like Score...

We should all be reading queer, all year, but this list is full of upcoming queer books of all makes and models coming out in 2026. If you have a rec to add, just please keep in mind we’re looking for 2026 releases!

I love reading romances between men and women where one or both of the characters are bi because it shows the potential of bi people to fall in love with any gender, if that makes sense. So often bi people in “straight” relationships don’t get clocked as LGBTQ+ and I like seeing how they make a “straight” relationship queer. It’s also nice to read about LGBTQ+ outside of achillian and sapphic stories and spaces. I’m always on the hunt for more.

books with five letter titles to tuck away for our favourite word guessing game

Hii, everyone ♡ I am a very big fan of the booktuber @caricanread so I thought I would make a list of all the books she has read this year! ✰

Book list for the Anti-Brain rot challenge with Boundless press

My favourite books or from my TBR by BIPOC authors in a range of different genres (though I primarily read fantasy and romance) (only first book for a series added, unless not directly linked)

Romance novels where the MCs are an MF couple that is straight-presenting, but one or both is/are queer

While the journey to love may not always be easy, it is always worth it. Black MMCs. Black FMCs. Black love. Happy Endings always!

Black love in all its glory

The title speaks for itself 🤝

links for the full year in the comments

Will be updated as the year goes on ✨ open to comments ✨

Featuring a range of subgenres within romance, these stories feature MCs with disabilities. I would love more recommendations to add to the list!

Books in fantasy, romance and everything in between that have queer rep in their main cast and supporting characters. Always welcome to more recommendations!

Romance and fantasy romance books written by authors of the diaspora where we get to see Black woman loved like they're supposed to be (only first book for a series added, unless not directly linked)

Books that fucked me up in a realm of different ways, ranging from crying my eyes out to raging at the world to re-evaluating my entire existence.

Audiobooks that practically serenade you with their VA's and production. Some have actual music and lyrical qualities, and all of them have great performances from the VA. A list for those who understand that audiobooks do, in fact, count as reading.

the never ending list of buddy reads

I do a lot of ARC reads (maybe too many) and I want to highlight some of my favourites! Complied here are favs that I rated 3 or higher.
