Recs if you like Lamb, Stag & Wolf...

Horror books about Cults, where terror is permeated by religion, closed communities and disturbing brainwashing. I will keep and eye open for more recs from the Pagebound club 👁️!

Queer horror (& thriller & some suspense) written by self-published and indie authors, many leaning erotic and/or religious 🔞

Recommendations welcome!

✦ I have not read all of these books - if you notice anything that seems to be mis-labeled/mis-placed on this list, please let me know! ✦

This is an achillean horror books lists.. i make this because i want more gays. This list is inspired by the list made by @Thehobbit ( Yes. I definitely did not read like 99% of these books so. Y'all can like.. recs me some.. please ) + This is also a reminder i should read horror more, because why not, and they're fun and and — I hope yall have fun with this list, please educate me if i picked non achillean books as I've stated i have not read most of these, i will be updating over time.

*or gothic and generally horror-adjacent. i have not read all of these! some self-published i think as well

What is it with queer people and cults?

"But green is the color of earth, of living things, of life." "And of rot." "Yes. Yes..." - The Green Knight (David Lowry, 2021). If it evokes the deep, green mystery of the woods and is also has some element of queerness (or reads as queer, in the case of the green knight), it's going on the list.
