Not op but I really enjoyed My Name Isn't Paul (body snatcher alien horror from the alien pov) and Linghun (speculative lit fic about grief)

thank you!! how 'extreme' would you say the horror is those two? (i usually dont read horror but i wanna try the genre)

Linghun I would say not at all, like there are ghosts but it's more sad than scary.
My Name Isn't Paul has a fair amount of body horror and some weird alien sex stuff. I didn't think it was too extreme but it would be higher on the scale than Linghun.
