Recs if you like The Dark Hills Divide...

You liked Harry Potter but you’re angry at the author for being a huge transphobe and you would like some alternatives because you don’t want to give money to her so she can finance transphobia and you have enough of Harry Potter’s racist stereotypes like Cho Chang and other problematic themes in this saga? You’re in the right place! I haven’t read all, if some are misplaced, let me know! Also, if you want more fantasy recs, I have a queer fantasy list! It is addressed to different ages.

Books of the millennial reader's childhood (not just scholastic book fair). Sticking with chapter books, and not picture books :) All books pre-2005 Taking recs!

Stories that involve monsters (literal, psychological, metaphorical) and the woods. 🌲🌲🌲

books i got lost in during quiet reading time as a kid (and maybe you did too)

I was recently rereading a book I loved when I was 13 expecting it to be terrible and simple, and I found that I actually still liked it so I decided to make this list!! Recommendations are welcome, this will be a running list xx

i keep seeing tiktoks about "obscure childhood books no one else read" and then its just a list of award winners with movie adaptations. also this is for my reference because i'll think about these but forget the title
