Recs if you like The Thief Lord...

JK Rowling is a bigot who uses her platform to hurt transfolks and other marginalized groups (plus she literally just quoted Mein Kampf on the bird site). If you're still supporting her in 2025, don't bother talking to me.

Books of the millennial reader's childhood (not just scholastic book fair). Sticking with chapter books, and not picture books :) All books pre-2005 Taking recs!

chapter books you probably read in elementary and/or middle school and you probably took the AR test as soon as you finished. cue nostalgia

Bring on those Gen Y memories! A list of books likely to give people born between 1981 and 1996 a lot of feelings.

This list is for those of us who grew up eagerly awaiting the Scholastic Book Fair, watching Reading Rainbow (or Wishbone!), and dreaming of a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.

Note: these are not books published in 1981-1996, but books that had a hold on the millennial generation.

Also check out the Dear America series, American Girl series & Royal Diaries series.

As the name suggests this list is for my beloved fantasy thieves and criminals, lying, cheating, charming, their way out of situations. Yet we root for them, we love them.

Standalone books worth a read or repeat!

for your inner child who dreamed of growing up to become a criminal mastermind/thief—never give up on your dreams!

books i’ve read with a main course of mischief and mayhem and a dish of heists/thefts/burgleries/cons on the side (or vice versa)

So you want to diversify your reading list and thought about checking German literature. Should you check out the classical ones? Try some modern reads? Here's a list of every type of German book I really enjoyed or I heard are excellent - from the classics, to YA, to non-fiction

Books with con artistry, snark and consequences

As the title says; this is for all my friends/folks who maybe aren’t full bookworms yet but want to get back into reading. It’s still very much a work in progress so feel free to comment some recs below!

*Book recs are also in no particular order.
