You could add Bahnwärter Thiel. I think many students have also read it.

Thank you! I haven‘t heard of it before so I just looked it up and it appears to be a historically relevant piece of literature from 1887 about social injustice and the effects of the industrialisation. Adding it to the list! :)

It also shows how grief and abuse can change somebody. It's actually a pretty interesting piece.
