The title is a bit dramatic, but it reflects my current frustration perfectly. Long story short: I need books that can help me improve my interactions with others. I feel like I'm failing to read people and to be not-weird in my academic social circle (and isn't that a strange sentence?) and I need to fix that.
I think something that is spectrum-friendly might be of help, but I appreciate any recommendations! 🩷

Hi Boundlings 🌱
I've been looking far and wide for books that have characters with a father and daughter dynamic who aren't actually related. I'm thinking Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us or Gustave and Maelle from Expedition 33 🥹🫶
Two characters that found one another and are sticking together as friends, as father and daughter, as found family.
It doesn't have to be the main focus of the book, just part of the characters 🫶 Unfortunately, I find litfic quite boring 😭 so I am looking for fantasy, sci-fi, mystery or horror but I would check out litfic at this point as well. If anyone has a recommendation I'd love to hear it! 🥰

Hey everyone! As I was entering my apartment building today, I had suuuch a cute idea: I could place a few books from work (or from my own shelf) onto one of the window sills in the hallway and make a small house library 🥰
We do have multiple public book shelves in the neighborhood, so I'm afraid it might not really be that sought after, but I do love small community projects like that.. so, would you like that idea for your apartment building? Would you use it? Do you have any suggestions on how to make this idea more appealing to my neighbours?
I'm looking forward to your comments and hope y'all find this post interesting 💖

Oh, this was beautiful to read. The art style is simply lovely and the story, though short, comforting 🌷✨ I see why it's such a beloved book 🩷
