Ava is attending a tech conference with her brother Ethan so that he can make connections to get started in business. She's bored, that is, until she sees a handsome man across the room. He comes up to her so quickly, she ends up spilling her drink on his shirt. That man is billionaire Liam and the two of them are immediately attracted to each other.
Ava likes Liam and she also needs a job, so she applies for a job at his company in marketing. She gets the job. She is going to use the job to get close to Liam in order to get some of his contacts for her brother Ethan. She proposes to Liam that they pretend to be in a relationship so that people in business will see him as likable and settled. Meanwhile, she's still sneaking around behind his back getting his contacts lined up so she can get them to Ethan (what is she thinking???).
