    Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

     - honestly this collection as a whole was somewhat disappointing
    - Only a few authors had good stories
    - I feel like this should be categorized for a more younger audience probably 12-14
    - a lot of the stories felt forced

Bye, bye, Piper Berry by Julie Murphy (fake dating): 4.5 ⭐️
    - I really liked this one! It was really cute!
    - The romance was adorable
    - The story felt well developed for being so short
    - Really enjoyed the writing
    - Definitely intrigued by Julie’s other works now

Anyone else but you by Leah Johnson (stranded together): 3⭐️
    - this was already one of my least favourite tropes from the collection so I knew I wouldn’t like it as much
    - The writing was good
    - Found myself skimming most of it cause I kept getting bored

The idiom algorithm by Abigail Hing Wen (class warfare): 3.5⭐️
    - not what I thought class warfare was going to be so I was a bit disappointed
    - This read like a drama show lol
    - How can you leave your child alone in NYC for like YEARS on end and then get mad when they get a bf? Like yeah OKAY
    - Its your average rich girl trying to date an low income guy story 🤷🏻‍♀️
    - It was decent, excited to try Loveboat, Taipei

Auld Acquaintance by Caleb Roehrig (bff to lovers): 1⭐️ Dnf’ed
    - Good god this was terrible
    - Whiny MC
    - Terrible plot and writing
    - The story wasn’t well developed

Shooting Stars by Marissa Meyers (one bed): 5⭐️
    - oh so this story 👏🏻👏🏻
    - This was so well written!! Flowed beautifully, and fully immersive
    - I saved this one for last which i’m very happy I did!
    - The romance is so cute!! I could actually see their chemistry!
    - I would read this as a full novel 100%
    - I will say tho a senior trip where you go hiking *not for me* LOL
    - this was one of the only stories that felt like it should belong in the YA section

Keagan’s Heaven on Earth by Sarah Winnifred Searle (secret admirer): 3⭐️
    - I wasn’t a huge fan of the art work but it was still really nice! (I much prefer coloured GN)
    - It was a nice change to just having short stories but GN’s need to be much longer to fully immerse a reader
    - But the story overall was cute

Zora in the spotlight by Elise Bryant (grand romantic gesture): 4⭐️
    - omg imagine being so petty 😂 I’m obsessed
    - I honestly would CACKLE if this happened to me omg 😂😂
    - Okay so I really liked this one!!
    - It was really cute, kinda weird but I like that about it 😂
    - Will definitely look into more of Elise Bryant’s books!!

In the blink of the eye by Elizabeth Eulberg (trapped in a confined space): 4⭐️
    - a royal obsessed main character… yay
    - Calling Big Ben her bf?
    - Omg not the “babes” this is trying to hard 😂
    - Okay i mean it was fine lol
    - But the boy being named ben lol really?
    - The ending saved it 100%
    - Still hate the British slang randomly thrown in

Liberty by Anna-Marie Mclemore (the makeover): 3⭐️
    - tw: body image topics
    - Romance is just forced i didn’t see much of the chemistry
    - Writing felt very juvenile

The surprise match by Sandhya Menon (matchmaker): 3.5⭐️
    - The concept of the app is really cool and wish we could have a full on novel with that concept
    - It was okay, again felt rushed but thats what you get with 30 page stories
    - Romance was cute
    - Not my favourite writing
