I'm currently doing a chronological reread for the first time of all books in the Shadowhunters universe starting with the first three chapters of the Bane Chronicles. I've only just entered TID era with Clockwork Angel and already all I could think about is how heartbreaking it must have been for Magnus Bane to see people he knew, he cared about in the past, in some strangers, their descendants. Although I've read these books when they first came out, it really hits different when you start reading in chronological order.
