I'm a huge fan of Maisie's music and her newest album Florescence has been playing nonstop since it came out. She's a passionate reader, so over the years many books recommendations have accumulated and I thought it would be cute to make a list out of them. Great historical fiction books - learn about the past and places with a dramatic and meaningful personal tale.

Books that were/are Barnes & Noble Monthly Picks, Books of the year, Hot Coffee Hot Books, or Book Club picks.

For the former enjoyer of fantasy, sci-fi, and historical fiction series without the time or obsession to get through three or more books to finish a narrative. These books are majority historical fictions that unfold at an epic scale. Whether through one journey, generations, or centuries, these stories speak to identities (often cultural or of a nation) and to truths larger than themselves.
