This took me an extremely long time to read. The second half was good, and the ending was great, but it took me so long to get there I resented it by the time I was enjoying it.

The only thing I really enjoyed about this book was Rain's character development. Bringing Dorothy back was pointless. She only annoyed everyone. Keeping Nanny alive? Unnecessary. They did nothing to the story but add some semblance of unnecessary comic relief. And the fact that everyone just kind of met and then became husband and wife seemed like an unnecessary plot point, just to tie up loose ends we didn't care to follow up on.
