every struggled to find actual lesbian/sapphic books when at the library or bookstore? so did I!

bc of said struggle, I started to curate a personal list of books that either has lesbian MCs and/or featured a primary sapphic romance.

i haven't read all of these, but I do try my diligence in confirming that they meet the above perimeters, since many books claim to be sapphic when they're not. this is an ever updating list, only fiction for now!

Or: graphic design is my passion, and today we are learning about text paths 🙂‍↕️. This is an immensely silly List, and always open to suggestions—vertical text, circular, upside down, anything goes!

We should all be reading queer, all year, but this list is full of upcoming queer books of all makes and models coming out in 2026. If you have a rec to add, just please keep in mind we’re looking for 2026 releases!

A collection of stories that utilize narrative voice in a Particular Way. Often quirky, sometimes funny, and usually impactful to the plot or nature of the novel. Not limited to any particular POV so long as the narrative is distinct. Goes hand-in-hand with an unreliable narrator but not mutually exclusive to one.

This is a very subjective list, but I loooove this vibe in a novel. Recommendations welcome!
