A Goddess deserves to be worshipped. That’s what Azra and Sam tell me and I don’t think I’m ever going to get used to this. All of my Virtues have been reluctant and taken time to come around to their destiny. Not my angel twins. They revere me and are psychotically protective of me, especially when Cole busts out of his prison and claims my new Virtues aren’t worthy of me. Did I mention they were twins? Um, hot much? They’re the only force keeping me from falling into a pit of depression after the majority of my Virtues were infected by Calamity. I can’t see them. I can’t feel them. Only Kaito remains and he’s thrown himself into his research to undo this mess. It’s my job to unlock the angelic powers inside of me before Lucifer comes back to claim my crown, one lesson at a time. Assuming Cole doesn’t destroy me all over again, because his rage burns hot and fast, but my fallen angel twins are here to balance the scales just like destiny intended. Nobody ever told me a fight between good and evil would end like this…

AH!
I flew right through this, as it was so action-packed.
Lily has her hands full in this installment! She needs to re-connect with her angel virtues—she was actually with them for a decade, but doesn’t have her memories—they’re incredibly sweet but a bit racist. (They hate, and subsequently try to unalive demons / demonspawn on sight, which means she sometimes has to step into the role of referee.)
She’s also still trying to defeat Calamity, while Lucifer does everything he can to try to stop her—meaning many of her virtues are … out of commission for this bit.
Time continues to move … strangely. So if she jumps to another realm to get something done, she may have mates behind mad at her for disappearing for ‘weeks’ or more … there are full-on battles … but the author still manages to work in lots of personal growth for Lily, who is developing into quite the badass, laugh-out-loud humor, and of course, steamy scenes.
Completely epic and absolutely dying to devour books 7 and 8.
5 stars.

Audio—perfect, just like the rest of this series. Moyen is a total master at her craft.
