The series is filled with enemies to lovers, who did this to you, fated mates, one bed, touch her & die, morally grey MMC, magic & spiceeee๐ถ๏ธ Omg where to begin!? I think Iโm a little sad right now that this series has come to an end. A trilogy I will always love, with characters I will definitely miss! I loved having more of the fantasy side of things in this book because thatโs something I was wanting more of in the last book. This book really ramped up the fantasy side of things & although I loved having more of that, some of it was a lot happening really fast. I definitely couldโve used 100 more pages if things progressed a little slower to have room for more explanation. That being said though, the relationship part of things in this book was so cute & I wouldnโt complain if we got a novella out of this one with some side characters ๐ I loved Dacre & Verenaโs relationship in this book & always love seeing how Dacre cares for her. The ceremony (iykyk) was the coolest & I think it was my favorite๐ If you havenโt picked up this series you definitely should give it a try! ๐ Thank you to Holly Renee & her amazing team for my ARC ๐ so happy to be apart of Hollyโs Little Traitors๐ก๏ธ๐

I liked this more than the last book (which isnโt hard bc i gave it one star), but I still wasnโt blown away by it. The story itself wasnโt too bad, just terribly generic; however, it felt like it lacked a substance and depth I typically look for in romantasy books. And honestly? I had the same critique of the first book. It just kinda felt like the author threw in a few fantasy buzz words here and there and hopes theyโd stick. It was definitely more fleshed out than the previous installments but was still lacking in world building imo. I am glad I saw it through because I hate leaving a series unfinished, especially when itโs only a few books.
I think if youโre new to romantasy/fantasy or are looking for something far more romance focused, youโll enjoy this one. Itโs a quick and easy read and you donโt need to have a strong background in the genre to grasp any of the fantastical elements. Unfortunately, I donโt think Iโm the target audience.
