Audiobooks that are less than 10 hours long and are safe for work AKA not aiming to get your horned up at your desk (no guarantees that you won't cry or get the creeps though). Recommendations welcome!

Short novels can sometimes be overlooked by readers who usually go for content that will leave them thinking. Usually, only books that are exceptionally long or are known as classics can leave a reader reeling for hours after. However, in around 200 pages or less, these authors have composed multiple or a single story that cause you to question the way things are in the world in comparison to how they could be.

Shamelessly yoinked from a certain other reading app that shall not be named... this is a list of recently published (2025-2026) LGBTQ+ fiction across a spectrum of genres and identities!

an ode to the great american road trip novel. sometimes thrilling, sometimes terrifying, usually at least somewhat entertaining.

I like my books the best when they fight back. (What can I say? I love a good cry.) These ones have a little kick to em.
