Your favorite investigative duo and newlyweds, Kiera and Gage, are enjoying matrimonial bliss. That is until their serene honeymoon is interrupted by a letter from Gage’s father, asking them to investigate the mysterious death of a young postulant at an abbey outside of Dublin, Ireland.

Setting out to find out who would commit such a heinous crime, the couple travel to the Loretto Abbey school. But with an overwhelming list of suspects and very little information to go on, Kiera and Gage aren’t able to discover the killer before yet another nun is found dead. The Mother Superior nearly agrees to shut down the school, but with mounting civic unrest spreading throughout Ireland, she’s unwilling to risk the girls’ safety outside of the abbey no matter the threat they are facing internally.

No matter the obstacles, Kiera and Gage are determined to figure out what happened at the abbey and maintain a bit of their newlywed bliss.

This book is my favorite of the series, and I seriously doubt that that will change as the series goes on. There is just so much to love here! From the setting to the cuteness overload from the newlyweds to the characters, Huber crafts a riveting mystery that keeps you guessing until the very end.
