Do you believe in fate? Would you want to know your future? The date and method of your death? Would that change how you live? Or is destiny already firmly in place??? It was a good read, I enjoyed it. Do you believe in predictions, and if you were told that you were going to die early, would you try to change your fate to give yourself more time?! The story was long, but short chapters.

Here One Moment is a gripping, emotional read that masterfully weaves together the lives of its characters in ways that feel both unexpected and inevitable. The twists and turns kept me on edge, not just because of the surprises, but because of how seamlessly every thread came together. The way the story explored fate—how quickly people accept their circumstances, how easily they believe their paths are set—was haunting and thought-provoking. Life is full of what ifs and regrets, and this book does an incredible job of making the reader feel the weight of those moments.
One of the most powerful aspects of this novel is its raw, unflinching portrayal of mental health. The author didn’t just write about these struggles—they immersed me in them. Each character felt so real, so deeply human, that it was as if I was living their experiences alongside them. Their emotions, fears, and pain weren’t just told; they were felt. It’s rare to find a book that handles such heavy topics with this level of honesty and care.
This isn’t just a story—it’s an experience. One that lingers long after the final page.
Too long, lots of people. Reminded me of The Measure (which I enjoyed much more). Maybe if I hadn’t read that first I would’ve liked this more?
