Cozy fantasy with magic, witches, faeries, and warm, whimsical vibes. Always open to more recs ❤

Books for people that crave romances but hate the mainstream romantasy trends, main characteristics required to fit this list: M/F pairings are completely fine, but they don't fit into a cisheteronormativy worldview (mostly, men and women aren't different species in these books) No weird and creepy possessiveness Characters that look like normal humans and not only thinstagram models They can find each other hot immediately but the romance has to be developed.

You want a fantasy book without too much stress and a guaranteed happy ending? Maybe magic and a muffin? Or talking creatures drinking tea? Sentient houseplants who are occasionally bossy? I gotcha. 😉

A collection of adult fantasy romance with mature main characters. This list includes both standalones and the first book in series. Let me know if you have any recs!!

Romance books with characters and a romance that feels mature. There is no or very low drama in the romance itself. It's often a slowburn, sometimes medium burn and feels very natural. The characters are either emotionally aware, possess a decent level of emotional intelligence, or are actively trying to communicate even if it's hard. Aside from the romance there is ample time for the characters to have growth on their own.

Keywords; Mature, slow/med burn, no drama, steady, emotional security.
