Recs if you like Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman...

Nonfiction books about fatness—through a lens of activism, liberation, and acceptance. Body diversity is a beautiful and natural thing and these books honor that truth.

Here's every book so far from BOTM's monthly shortlist since February 2015 for anyone who wants to read them all like I do!

Body liberation, fat positive, anti-diet culture.

List created because I was surprised this didn’t already exist (and if it does please let me know!). Update: @violet.booklover has a beautiful list with even more suggestions!

Trigger warnings: bodies can be a triggering topic. All the books here aim to be anti-diet, and size affirming, but please approach with caution.

Books about the beauty industry and how it exploits people

Body positivity, everybody is a beach body, and PMOS/Endometriosis Rep (if I can find it - recs accepted in comments). Mixed audience reads. YA/NA/18+
