Wonderful list! Currently reading one of the books, Fearing the Black Body. Interested to read more! ♥️
Thank you so much! 🫶
Such a great list, really wanna dig into this topic more! 😊
Thank you! Same here :)
so glad someone made this list, thank you 🫶🏻
Thank you for commenting 💕 Do you have any recommendations to add?
i don’t! honestly, i’m so impressed with what you’ve got here, i see many i’ve read, several on my tbr i’ve never seen anyone else talk about, plus some i’ve never heard of, really well done here 👏🏼
I’m so glad yay
This is such a good list! Thank you for making it. Another book that might fit is Queer Body Power by Essie Dennis
Ooh thank you so much for the recommendation—added
LOVE this list! I've struggled with disordered eating most of my life. But I'm still fat, so getting treatment has been a struggle. (I'm currently in therapy with a specialist in ED). But reading about women accepting their fatness will, hopefully, help me accept mine.

Thank you for sharing that! I hope it helps ❤️
This is amazing and thank you for doing this!!! I wish we could host book clubs here!
Thank you! That would be fun :o I hope they add that feature :)
oh I have been needing a list exactly like this, tysm 🙏🏼💞
Yay I’m so glad
This is a great list! I will have a dig through my storygraph if you would like some fashion book recs for the list? (Can’t remember names off the top of my head. Not about hiding a fat body either)
I’d love recommendations 💕 thank you
Plus by Bethany rutter is full of pics of gorgeous fat women of different sizes. Kinda out of date but I still like looking at it personally Meg Boggs has a book on weightlifting and jessamyn Stanley has one on yoga, unashamed by Leah vernon
The power of plus and Louise green has a couple of books about fatness. Theres also a sex book specifically for fat bodies that was really inclusive of different levels of ability (can’t remember name) Seems sadly with the current climate that people are going to need these books more than ever
Amazing! Excited to check those out. So true, definitely very needed.
Oh yes to all of these recs! Love Jessamyn Stanley, Leah Vernon, and Meg Boggs✨
Your lists are INCREDIBLE - top tier🫡❤️ I’m reading multiple books on this list atm, it’s so amazing to see such a comprehensive list✨🌻 The book ‘Am I Ugly?’, a memoir by Michelle Elman, would fit well onto this list. She has other books as well but that’s the main one about bodies, fatness, surgery scars and chronic illness. Also Megan Jaynce Crabbe has a new book out called ‘We Don’t Make Ourselves Smaller Here’. Any other recs I have are already in this awesome list!
Thank you so much ❤️🥰 those books sound awesome I’ll check into them right now :)
Just typed out alllll these titles to pass along to a friend who's on the body-image journey but not on PB. 😂 ❤️
Yay I’m so glad 🫶
