I put this audiobook on hold months ago, before she passed. Was in tears for the entire introduction. As someone who has become disabled in the last 3 years, and whose kiddo is also disabled and homeschooling by necessity- I am very excited to continue this book. I am so much more isolated due to family disability than I was a few years ago, and yet its other disabled people and other people with disabled kids who consistently show up for our family, and who I can then continue to build with and support where I can as well. Really resonated with with Schroeder and Hubrig’s pieces. Can’t wait for the pieces on parenting.
