0When you are at your most vulnerable there is no place you want to be but home and with those that love you, unfortunately for Sydney even though she is home she doesn't have the love of her family fortunately she does however have a best friend Leo and Leo's family. There is so much for Sydney to go through in this book, dealing with the past losses not just of family but love, as well as deal with an ex husband, impending motherhood and an attraction to the one guy she can't have and a few others things so yeah there are times I just want to bundle her up and give her the biggest hug. There are a lot of emotions to go through not only with Sydney, but also Cole as well as others so be ready for laughter, tears, joy, heartbreak as well as anger, hope and healing.

0I guess I was in the mood for angst and a 6 tissue read. Grief is so in romantic, but a big part of life.
Only thing I didn’t like was the ‘mean girl’ used to hurt the heroine and reveal more insecurity and secrets for both hero and heroine.
