Recs if you like Hang the Moon ...

Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

For my favs / read, check out my other lists & shelves.

Open to suggestions for more titles.

Don't shoot the messenger.

I love reading romances between men and women where one or both of the characters are bi because it shows the potential of bi people to fall in love with any gender, if that makes sense. So often bi people in “straight” relationships don’t get clocked as LGBTQ+ and I like seeing how they make a “straight” relationship queer. It’s also nice to read about LGBTQ+ outside of achillian and sapphic stories and spaces. I’m always on the hunt for more.

Romance novels where the MCs are an MF couple that is straight-presenting, but one or both is/are queer

Spicy romance books with cute, illustrated covers that don't look nearly as spicy as they are 🌸

This list is based on the covers featured here, so it may be a little biased. Recommendations are welcome!💌

NB: Includes different spice levels and some LGBTQ+ romances❤️‍🔥

My absolute fav trope in the world!!! because nothing hits harder than the slow burn, the pining, the “we’ve always been just friends” until suddenly one touch changes everything 😭💌 Like… the history, the comfort, the way they already know each other’s hearts, it just makes the romance 10x more swoony.

I love books with a very cute & cozy atmosphere, so here are some recommendations with diverse queer rep. Btw there are also some german books in here which haven't been translated so far, just so you know 🫶🏻

The most beautiful and wholesome cute little kid MMCs who fall in love with the older girl next door in their neighborhood. And now they’re of age and over 6 ft tall, they will stop at nothing to marry the girl of their dreams—age difference be damned.

Brother’s best friend, best friend’s brother, brother’s ex, brother is a demon king and you swore to help him get his crown back. Basically, it’s the brother’s fault. You get it.
