HOW CAN IT BE WRONG IF IT FEELS SO GOOD Dating an American princess comes with a massive amount of baggage–all of which I’m willing to carry strapped on my back in quicksand and through seven hells. But Jane Cobalt’s baggage, I’m unprepared for. It comes in the form of her five equally famous and notoriously hard-to-please brothers.     I want Jane.  Completely.  Unconditionally.  But when there’s a trip scheduled that I can’t be a part of, I only have one option. It’s immoral.  Something I’d never consider until now.  But, hell, there’s got to be some perks to being a twin. So I’m doing it. I’m switching places with my brother.  Done and done.  It should have been easy.  There were little consequences.  Until the storm hit. The Like Us series is a true series, one continuous timeline, that follows a family of wealthy celebrities and the people that protect them. It must be read in the following order: The Like Us Series Reading Order: 1. Damaged Like Us (Maximoff & Farrow) 2. Lovers Like Us (Maximoff & Farrow) 3. Alphas Like Us (Maximoff & Farrow) 4. Tangled Like Us (Jane & Thatcher) 5. Sinful Like Us (Jane & Thatcher) 6. Headstrong Like Us (Maximoff & Farrow) 7. Charming Like Us (Oscar & Jack) 8. Wild Like Us (Akara & Sulli & Banks)

Yeah, these books are still just so painfully average. I like them, I just don't love them.

Charlie is the most interesting character in this book. Beckett is a close second. I'm still mega hype for the Jack/Oscar book because I still love Oscar. And literally every time they interacted (which, to be fair, is like twice) I was like, "YES I'M SO READY." But like, if anyone in this family is going to get a book, it should be Charlie tbh.

I think the issue I most have with these books is that there isn't much build up. The couple gets together pretty fast, and then they have NO conflict. None. At all. It's fine if the characters get together quickly, but then they need to have conflict. It's also fine if they DON'T have conflict when they're together, but it better take more than three chapters before they get together.

I do still find it hilariously dramatic whenever the bodyguards talk about how much they love the families. Bc every time I'm like, "Okay calm down." Or like when Thatcher was like, "These families are like a beacon of light and hope to people." And I'm like, "Okay, I think even people who like the Kardashians wouldn't say they're a beacon of light and hope. No need to be so dramatic."

Overall, I there's really not much I inherently DISLIKE about this series. There are a lot of things that have me like ? But I like the characters enough to stick with it.
