Recs if you like Infamous...

in progress - taking suggestions

Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic / lesbian characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

For my favs / read, check out my other lists & shelves.

Don't shoot the messenger.

Historical fiction books with queer characters

anyone else waiting for a sapphic bridgerton season [wait bc did i manifest that?? let's go season 5!!🤭]? (books with tea parties, big dresses and/or general bridgerton vibes!) 💗

Stories that tell the tale of sapphic life and love throughout time

queer historical romance with a heavy helping of regency romance especially since it seems to be the most populated 🫖👑🏳️‍🌈

Because we’re queer and we’ve always been here 🥹

fun/casual lgbt books. predominantly contemporary romance, trying to avoid lit fic. more for when i am looking for a palette cleanse.

Queer stories set in the past

Sapphic books in German and English ✨

(mainly YA and queer) books I don't see around here a lot -- here's my underrated recommendations (under 200 ratings as I'm adding them)

A silly goofy little list of incredible historical romances for people who want to learn while also giggling and kicking their feet in the air.

Sapphic romance novels set in the past!

Historical romcom books that subvert the genre beyond two cis straight white able bodied people of a similar class. Think the Bridgerton TV Show but even more!

Let me know if you have any recs to add!!

Stories set in Regency-era England, filled with elegant ballrooms, strict social rules, and romance in the style of Bridgerton.

Niche but underrated!

thank the stars for bisexual masculinities. ✨ there’s a lot of great bi+ fem(me)s in lesbian/sapphic/wlw literature, and bi+ masc/butch/stud/gnc/nonbinary rep needs to catch up! soft butches/mascs/studs, stemmes, futches, and tomboys also included here. mostly curated from suggestions, more recs welcomed! note: a small number of these are (significant) side-characters, please check blurb/reviews.

Some Regency(and Edwardian) novels/graphic novels I’ve read or seen that depict a queer relationship as the forefront.

LGBTQ books that I've LOVED and absolutely recommend!

A collection of queer historical romances.
