As a tall-ish girl myself, every time I come across an FMC who is described as tiny, I yearn a bit more for some tall FMC representation — we can be love interests too! 🥹😍 So I made this list of (mostly romance and fantasy) books with a tall FMC. Whether she is taller than her partner, or they are somehow EVEN TALLER than her, all is welcome here 🫶

You don’t need to be a pet parent to fall for the animal sidekicks that steal the show! 🐾 I grew up surrounded by a pack of dogs, but since I can’t have one with me now, I treasure books that bring all the cuddles, chaos, and heart straight to the page.

I sometimes love this trope, but also hate it at the same time, but figured I’d make a list of the ones I liked.

One of my favorite jokes about romance is that the most unrealistic aspect of them is that the men have friends.

These are romances where the male main character has close friends he talks to and banters with. These are often brothers, but sometimes they are more found family. They don’t have to be fellow men but they help round out who is and make him a better, more complete person. It’s catnip for me when they see his growing love for the other MC more clearly than he does.

Featuring some Mountain men and Cowboys, different plots and stories but a main focus on a romance between a grumpy man and a sunshine woman
