I received a copy this book from Kay L Moody. This is my honest review.
The Elements of the Storm combine four books; Water Storm, Air Storm, Earth Storm and Fire Storm. I read all these books separately before they were combined into this one amazing book.
With the books centered around The Storm, and the harsh reality of the world they live in, Talise must join with allies she never thought she'd join with, and make decisions she never thought she'd make. Talise struggles with her mind and her heart. She knows The Storm needs help, she knows all the sectors need help, but the only way to help is if her father wasn't on the throne anymore.
I think Talise really grows throughout these books. She makes the tough decisions, and does what she has to, because she's sick of fighting a losing battle. She becomes the leader Kamdaria needs and wants, and that scares a lot of people, herself included.
The relationships among the groups really develop through this book. They become a strong tight knit group needed to make Kamdaria great again. Every obstacle they face, the face together and without each other the impending war would be impossible.
Aaden and Talise are my favourite relationship through this whole series, and even with their ups and downs, I still root for them right until the very end!
It's sad knowing that this series has finished. These characters have all received a little place in my heart, and Kay L Moody has become my favourite find of the year, and I can't wait to see what else she has instore for her reader!
