If you end up reading the Shadow and Bone trilogy sometime soon, you should definitely try the accompanying duology, Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom, as well. They're super good, and I liked it way more than the original trilogy. (If you check out and like the premise of Six of Crows, you can read it without reading S&B, it'll still make sense)
I actually took a break from Shadow and Bone a while back after I came to a reading slump and have recently picked up SOC after hearing similar comparisons on other platforms. I'm really loving the characters and story so far; it's more up my alley in terms of pacing and I found it a little easier to get into! Super excited to finish it! :]
