Why is Faebound on this list?

1

I found it on a list of Asian speculative fiction by Asian authors, which is why I added it. I haven't read it yet myself, so I trusted that source. If it isn't actually, then I will absolutely be taking it off the list. Have you read it?

I have. The characters are Black. The environment is mostly the forest and underground so there’s nothing particularly Asian about it.

That's good to know, thank you! I'll take it off.

Love it! Most of these are already on my TBR or Read list. :) You could add Jessica Jung's books (Korean). They are more YA romance though and these look more fantasy. I did see a sci-fi on here... what about Ocean's Godori (korean-inspired)? To Sway a Soul (Chinese)? The Legend of the Nine-Tailed Fox by Katrina Kwan or Nine Tailed by Jayci Lee (both Korean)? When They Burned the Butterfly (Chinese)? These are just a few more on my radar.

Ooh thank you, I'll definitely take a look at those! I'm always happy for more suggestions. I started out with Asian-inspired fantasy but realized that some of the books I was starting to put on weren't just fantasy, so I expanded it to fiction in general.

We share a passion for the same thing for sure. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know!
