Xianxia Danmei Novels
Xianxia and wuxia novels are literary genres that are often compared to one another; while xianxia could be regarded as a subgenre of wuxia, the substantial difference is that the first is known for his more fantastical/magical elements compared to the latter, which is instead labeled as “low fantasy”. Chinese folklore is usually quite prevalent within xianxia.
