If you haven't read it yet, I recommend Native Foodways: Indigenous North American Religious Traditions and Foods edited by Michelene E. Pesantubbee and Michael J. Zogry! I read it a couple years ago and found it really interesting and loved the anthology/essay format.

I also really enjoyed that book - I ended up using it for my class First Foods of the PNW and still have it on my shelves! What a great book to suggest, thank you!

Just finished Braiding Sweetgrass and want to read more, so this list is perfect thank you! She has another book The Serviceberry that may fit too.
