I am so intriuged by this collection! Nights at the circus is one of my all time fav books and right now I am reading Autofiction and are loving it so far! I have The Gilda Stories on my tbr but what do you think I should read next off this list?🤩
Heyyy, so glad to hear this! I actually made the list to follow through with the collection myself. I've read "The yellow wallpaper" (amazing and the vintage classics edition includes more short stories by Charlotte Perkins Gilman) and just started "The diving pool".
I'll continue with "Black magic" but I'd recommend "Death in her hands" by Ottessa Moshfegh. Haven't read it yet myself but I loved "My year of rest and relaxation" and "Lapvona" so I'd say it's a safe bet! Would love to hear your update! 🧚🏻♀️
Oh! The yellow wallpaper will definetly be added to my soon to be read, i just need to get a hold of a copy of it! Although I wanna read Drive you plow over the bones of the dead before Death in her hands because i have heard that they are quite similar! But I will soon be reading another Moshfeigh! I've only read My Year of rest and relaxation so far. I Have now finished Auto Fiction and it was to me a 5 star book! The reviews here on pagebound so far doesn't make the book justice...
Oh, Drive your plow over the bones of the dead is on my tbr too! Honestly there are so many books on my radar right now that I'm overwhelmed no matter how or where I 'pin' them 😅
